Further to our filing of Nov 5th, the majority of Contract Carriers will start charging the Port Surcharge effective November 24th. Troy’s charge will become effective with cargo delivered after December 5th. Note that Troy Container will only charge this fee if the underlying carrier assess this fee.
The LCL charges are as follows (also get an LCL Freight Quote here):
Origin: Sailing from or via ALL U.S. WEST COAST PORTS
Type of Increase: Port Congestion
Rate $8 w/m
For FCL moving from or via U.S West Coast Ports, all Carrier Port Congestion Fees will be passed on as billed by the carrier.
Should carrier delay and/or suspend these fees, Troy Container Line shall postpone the charges as well.
