Troy Container Line Announces Express Services From Italy

NVOCC Announces Import Service from Genoa

RED BANK, NJ (Jan. 21, 2014) – Troy Container Line, one of the world’s largest American-owned NVOCCs, has announced an improved express service from Genoa, Italy to NY. Along with its partner Combi Line International Spa, the companies will now offer a 10-day transit from Genoa in addition to pick-ups throughout Italy.

Chris Hellow, COO of Imports, worked closely with Maurizio Briglia, of Combi Lines International Spa, to expedite transit times and enhance service capabilities in this market.

“Troy Container Line is committed to cost-effective, efficient service,” commented Hellow. “Our knowledge and expertise of the importing process provides unrivaled service in this trade lane, giving clients access to door pick-ups throughout Italy as well as IPI services to more than 80 destinations throughout the U.S.”

In addition to the launch of the improved import service, Troy Container Line’s offers express export services to Italy on a weekly basis. Overseen by COO of Exports Patricia Fitzgerald and Assistant VP Derrick Magee, LCL and FCL cargo from across the country is serviced on a weekly basis. Troy’s network of more than 20 CFS throughout U.S., as well as the ability to offer door rates and pick-ups, creates a cost-effective gateway.
