1984

A partnership between Michael Troy and the Catucci Family was formed.  The first offices on the Brooklyn waterfront overlooked downtown Manhattan as our first shipments were handled from New York to China and Japan.

1985

Services launched in the Europe market to build upon the existing Asia consolidations.

1986

LCL Export Services: South, East & West Africa

1989

The first FCL Export contract was signed in 1989 which allowed us to break into the neutral FCL Export market with competitive carrier rates to offer our clients in addition to our LCL consolidation services.

1991

Troy Container Line has great pride in long-term partnerships. We moved into St George Warehouse in 1991. Today, we are still proud to call STG Logistics a partner for our CFS requirements.

1995

To complement our ocean offerings, Troylines expanded to offer door-to-door capabilities for our forwarding clients.

1996

Walter Gimbert joined the company and began a career that is now 25+ years long.

We moved to Red Bank, NJ where our Global HQ is still located.

1997

Patricia Fitzgerald – Chief Operating Officer (Export) joined the company and continues to build the Troy Container Line brand within the forwarding community.

Troy Foundation was established to support education, health and welfare globally.

1998

Chris Hellow – Chief Operating Officer (Import) joined the company to grow our import department across various markets.

The Chicago market opened for LCL Export trade.

1999

Troy Container Line and Polar Shipping purchased The Polar House UK property.

2000

Gopal Roy joined Troy Container Line and went on to become the first Chief Financial Officer, guiding our accounting and financial departments.

2001

Tom Sciro (Chief Information Officer) joined the company and developed proprietary software for Troylines to be an industry leader for technology and digital capabilities.

2005

Svetlana Azimova joined the company to support accounting functions and today leads our freight cashier management team.

2006

Online service platform is expanded to offer online quotes, bookings, tracking, online access to HBL and invoices.

2007

Troy Container Line began a local partnership to support Lunch Break, a local food pantry based in Red Bank, NJ.

2010

Michael Troy II joins the company and leads the sales and corporate development.

2015

Troy Container Line expanded sales team to grow across US local markets.

2019

Chicago gateway added new LCL direct export and import services.

2020

The amount of Los Angeles export and import services handled through this gateway doubled.

2021

New Jersey Import department expanded to keep up with growth of import consolidations. 2021 was a large growth year for the company which led to expanding our presence in the Miami and Atlanta markets. This improved service drastically for our clients in the South Atlantic market.

2022

The company continued growth and remodeled our HQ in Red Bank, NJ to keep up with growth. This was also a year of IT enhancements for the company, which led to the launch of a new operating system. In 2022, the company also established a partnership with Monmouth University Business School to provide student internships and the University with local corporate guidance.

2023

Troylines rebrands for a fresh new look! We are heading toward 40 years in business and the new branding is a combination of the colors from the early years as well as the branding from recent years. Tying these together we introduce an anchor recognizing the value of being anchored in our company history, but with a fresh look toward the future!
